Education and Intercultural Specialist, Passionate Adventurer

About Me
My name is Noelle Brooker. I received a bachelor of arts from Kent State University in English with a minor in writing and a certificate in TEFL. After graduation I taught at the ESL center at Kent State University.
In 2012 I obtained a position at Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where I taught both general English and English for academic purposes. During my three years in the Middle East I was able to develop and grow both professionally and personally. It is, and will remain, one of my most cherished experiences.
I am currently pursuing my masters degree at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in International Education Management. I hope that my continued education will allow me to nurture and influence students beyond English language instruction as well as cultivate intercultural awareness and tolerance.
I am passionate about remaining a lifelong learner and try to achieve this through extensive travel and interactions with locals in the communities I visit. Though I have been to many places, it is a vast world and I hope to continue my exploration of it.
